Welcome to the Hufflepuff Guide!

Did you recently take the almighty Pottermore Sorting Hat Quiz , and receive.... Hufflepuff? Maybe you're feeling bad, not sure what Hufflepuff is all about. Maybe you're feeling shame because you were put in the "leftovers" house. Maybe you're feeling confused, because you grew up as a Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, or Slytherin, and now it feels like you're whole life has been a lie. That's what I'm here for. As a Proud Hufflepuff, I have gone through this same thing. My experience was confusion. I was a newborn Potterhead, already obsessed, and so excited to find out which House I was in. I was expecting to be a Ravenclaw because I already had the stereotype of being a nerd. I identified with the Ravenclaw attributes of creativity and intelligence and was wholly expecting to be Ravenclaw. I got Hufflepuff. I was not exactly ashamed, I was not feeling bad. Through my extensive research, I have gathered the following information on each of the Hogwarts Houses. Not all of the people in each house are listed, just the most famous or most important. Hufflepuff Attributes: valuing hard work, honesty, dedication, modesty, tolerance, gentleness, generous, patience, loyalty, fair play, protective, (nice until provoked, then scary!) nice, common room by kitchens, Cedric Diggory , Nymphadora Tonks , and Newt Scamander are in this house! Ravenclaw Attributes: intelligence, curiosity, wit, wisdom, creativity, originality, individuality, acceptance, can mean dedicated, common room in Ravenclaw Tower, Luna and her father Xenophilius Lovegood , Cho Chang , Gilderoy Lockhart , and Sybill Trelawney are in this house!
